This page describes what happens to information you give us through www.maindevs.com. It covers this website only.
What we collect
If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, work email, company name, and whatever you write in the message field. We also store, alongside your submission, the fact that you accepted these terms, whether you ticked the optional marketing box, the time you did it, and the exact wording you were shown — so what we do with your details can always be checked against what you actually agreed to. That is the only personal information this site asks you for.
If you arrived from one of our ads, we also store which campaign and ad brought you here, taken from the link you clicked.
If you book a call, Cal.com collects your name, email and anything you add to the booking.
We use the Meta Pixel, a tracking pixel from Meta Platforms, to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to this site and lead to an enquiry. It sets a cookie in your browser and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you submitted the contact form. Meta may combine this with other information it holds about you under its own privacy policy. You can control ad tracking in your Meta ad preferences or block third-party cookies in your browser. Aggregate, anonymous traffic measurement may also be collected by our hosting provider.
Why we collect it
First, to reply to your enquiry and to have a conversation about working together. That is the whole reason the form exists, and it is the only thing we need your details for.
Second — only if you ticked the optional box — to send you email about our services. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the processors listed below.
Marketing email
The marketing box on the contact form is optional and unticked by default. Submitting the form works exactly the same whether you tick it or not, and leaving it unticked has no effect on how we handle your enquiry.
If you do tick it, you can expect:
- Occasional email about what we build and what it replaces.
- Notes on how other operations teams are using these systems.
- The occasional service announcement.
Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click with no login and no questions. You can also email hello@maindevs.com and we will take you off immediately. Withdrawing is as easy as opting in was, and it never affects an active conversation or engagement.
Who processes it
- Vercel — hosts this website and serves its pages.
- SendGrid (Twilio) — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox as email, and sends marketing email to people who opted in.
- Neon — the database that stores your submission and the record of what you agreed to, so we can honour it.
- Cal.com — schedules the calls you book through this site, and stores the details you enter and which ad brought you here.
- Meta Platforms — measures how our ads perform, through the Meta Pixel.
Vercel, SendGrid, Neon and Cal.com are US-based service providers acting on our instructions, under contracts that limit them to processing your information for us. Meta uses what the pixel sends it under its own terms, as described above. Your submission also lands in our own business email account. We are a US company and your information is processed in the United States.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email and in our database for as long as the business relationship or conversation is live. If you opted in to marketing, we keep you on that list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you — after which we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not email you again by mistake. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Your choices
Email hello@maindevs.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to be removed from any list. We will action the request within 30 days, and usually the same week.
Changes
If this changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to information already collected. If we ever wanted to use your details for something you did not agree to, we would ask you first.
